Task

To drive people to be excited for the arrival of KFC in Myanmar

Idea

Invite the actual Colonel Sanders to visit Myanmar

Phase 1 - Welcome

Have people waiting for the Colonel at the main transportation hubs of Rangon with the signs saying "Welcome Colonel Sanders" with his picture. These people will go and hold the signs for a few days before the opening date at crowded places like the airport (for foreigners and locals), the main train station and bus station (for locals). This is to get the local people curious about who Colonel Sanders is, and for tourists to know KFC is coming to town.

Phase 2 - Picnic

On the opening date, the actual Colonel will arrive at the airport and will be escorted to the restaurant where people will be waiting to welcome him. He cuts the ribbon and show off his chicken frying skill.

At the store, we'll create a 'Picnic' event, where people can eat KFC chicken with the American 'Picnic' ambiemce, including an outdoor movie, lawn seatings and waiters dressed in the familiar white suite uniform.

Phase 3 - Colonel Sanders gets to know Myanmar

A series of short vdo clips of the life of the Colonel curiously trying out the life of Myanmese culture.

For example, he'd learn how to greet, visit the local market to find the best ingredients, puts the Tanaka on his face, learn to kick the Rattan ball, ect. People can tweet/FB a request of what they want to see the Colonel do to experience the most of the Myanmese culture.
